Bisk (Japanese: シガニー, Shiganī) is a spider crab that manages Shella Fresh, which sells shoes.
Personality
Bisk is very hip, and uses slang frequently when spoken to. He also seems very relaxed and open to customers. His initial design concepts from The Art of Splatoon 2 (Ikasu Art Book 2017) book shows more of the same personalities.
Appearance
Bisk has unreadable face expressions and rarely smiles so it is hard to tell what he is feeling.
Bisk appears to be a tall, yellow spider crab who wears tall, white boots with black laces that resemble a knee-high variant of the Punk Whites, a black tank top, a necklace that appears to have a crab claw, and a flannel shirt tied around his waist.
On his other legs, he has shoes which appear to be slip-ons but in different colors. Bisk also has two pointy black piercings on the left side of his face, he also wears white sunglasses with purple tinted lenses resembling a real life pair worn by famous grunge and rock Icon, Kurt Cobain. Bisk's sunglasses perfectly stay on his face. So fresh!
Bisk looks more evolved to be made to look like a character but still has his crab-shaped silhouette and details.
Trivia
- Bisk's name is derived from "bisque", a rich French soup with crayfish or fish meat that has been slowly stewed and seasoned.
- Despite him and Sheldon both being crabs, they look quite different from each other.
- He seems to have fallen in love with another female spider crab, as shown in the sixth Sunken Scroll.
