This is the Help and Rules page. Please follow these rules, or the admins may have to take action.

If you need help with anything, contact an active admin, our Wiki Representative, or check the help pages.

Notice

• All users take responsibility for what their account does. If it results in a ban, excuses including "My little sibling got on my computer and did stuff" or "My friend was dared to use my account for this" are not going to get you unbanned.
  • There is an exception if your account was hacked. If you believe that you were hacked, contact Fandom support via Special:Contact.

General Rules

Pages

• Always use third person writing. Don't use words like I, me, you, etc.
  • Walkthroughs are an exception due to the purpose of helping the player/reader.
• Please fill an edit summary before saving page changed (the box at the bottom of the page on desktop or an option will pop up on mobile), it helps moderate edits.
• Absolutely NO plagiarism. It is stealing and illegal.
• Do not vandalize pages. First and second offenses will get a warning while a third will result in a block.
  • This includes posting gibberish, random letters, personal comments or opinions, false information, and huge blocks of text that are hard to read or unrelated to the page.
• Use correct grammar and spelling.
• Do not spam edits just for the sake of a badge.
  • However, working to a goal is fine as long as it is useful.
• Try to make less edits than more, doing as much as you can in only a few.
• Do not use corrupted text on pages.
• Use character names as they are from the game.
• Keep the comments on pages appropriate and try not to reply to very old comments.

Discussion Board

• Follow general guidelines.
• Do not feed or respond to trolls, report them to admins or thread moderators right away.
• No explicit sexual material or gore.
• The use of hate language and imagery will not be tolerated.
• Do not use alt accounts for the sake of having an alt.
• Do not mini-mod. Let staff handle staff problems.
• Respect other users and their opinions.
• Try not to necropost, which is commenting on a post where the last comment is two weeks old or older. A post that is exempt from this is the Splatsville Department, a post made to report things and contact staff, and the Editing Masterpost, a post made for discussing and reporting editing.
• Instead of making posts directed towards a specific user, use a message wall instead.
  • Additionally, do not start roleplaying in the comments of posts.
• Do not make rage bait or other drama-starting posts.
• Swearing is allowed, but excessive swearing is not. Slurs are not tolerated.
• If you accidentally make a duplicate post, inform a discussion staff member.
• A user can only make one off topic post per 24 hours.
• Avoid making low effort posts to avoid clogging the discussion board.
• When posting fanart made by someone that isn't yourself, ALWAYS credit them. This is required even if a signature is clear on the art.
• Posting AI images is not allowed.
• Refrain from posting links to other wikis.

Staff Roles

• Even if you meet all requirements, there might not be any spots open. Do not push or bother people to give you a role.

Personal Information

Personal information is any information that can be used to identify a user or where they live. Privacy is held in high regard, so do not allow anyone to share personal information. If you see any being shared, please notify an administrator or bureaucrat immediately.

Banning Or Blocking

How long a user is blocked and when is determined by what rule they broke or offense they made. The block can range from one day to infinite. Do not try to evade a block unless you're sure there was a misunderstanding.
