The Ink Armor (インクアーマー, Inkuāmā^?) is a Special Weapon in Splatoon 2.

Appearance

When the Ink Armor is activated, the user and their teammates are coated in a skin of their ink and gives them white stars over their eyes. The eye stars show when a player with Ink Armor is hiding in ink.

Trivia

• Although Ink Armor doesn't return as a Special in Splatoon 3, it serves as temporary invincibility for players upon launching onto the map from their Spawn Point, thus preventing spawn-camping somewhat as players who try it will either be splatted due to the extra damage they need to apply to remove the armor before splatting the player, or get lucky in forcing the player back to their Spawn Point again. However, this can be risky if multiple players are spawning back in, leading the spawn-camper to be splatted in a crossfire if they get too greedy.
