The Inkbrush is a Roller-type weapon. It comes in a set with the Sprinkler and the Inkstrike. It is similar in ability to the Splat Roller, but covers a narrower area at a much higher speed. Its shake time is also low, allowing for rapid paint flicks which fit the paintbrush theme. However, the Inkbrush is weak, as it takes 5 direct hits from the brush or 4 paint flicks to splat an enemy. With the rapid shaking ability, paint flicking is a better option than running someone over, as you will get knocked back several times by direct hits. Much like the Splat Roller the Inkbrush can be used as a sort of melee weapon that splatters some ink in front of an Inkling. It was released in a post-release update in the game.

Tips
Using
As it is known for being very fast, players should use this to counter short range as they can get close to their targets quickly and then fire.
The weapon’s attack speed is very fast, so players can use this to surprise enemies.
This weapon can be used for useful distractions to stall.
Ink can be wasted quickly, so be warned.
Use Sprinklers and Inkstrike to help out, sprinklers to create dead-ends for enemies and inkstrike to counter the Inkbrush’s short range.
In Turf War, Inkbrush users could try painting unclaimed areas using their high flick speed. If provoked, they can simply dodge.
Countering
As the Inkbrush has bad range yet high mobility, players should keep a distance to a point where they can hit the Inkbrush user but they can’t fire back.
Although Inkbrushes are swift, Blasters can take them out with splash damage.
Players can use weapons or sub weapons to narrow or corner the Inkbrush user’s path

The Inkbrush is based on a 'mop' type paintbrush, despite being the narrower brush of the two, the other being the Octobrush.
